    The Ministry of Planning announced on Tuesday the rise in the monthly inflation rate (0.6%) for the month of October 2019, and the annual decline for the same month by (0.8%).

    The Ministry of Planning announced on Tuesday, the rise in monthly inflation rate (0.6%) for the month of October 2019, and the annual decline for the same month by (0.8%).
    The ministry's spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi said in a statement received by Mawazine News that the overall index for October in Iraq reached 104.8 percent as it rose by 0.6 percent compared to September 2019, attributing it to an increase. Food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.5%), Health (1.3%), Education (0.4%).
    Hindawi added that "the core inflation index decreased by (0.2%) from the previous month and decreased by (0.1%) compared with October 2018."
