The deputy of the Alliance of Saeron Badr Al-Ziyadi expected, on Saturday, that resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi will remain in his position with the caretaker government until the elections date if he passes next week without choosing an independent candidate for prime minister, while he considered that the opinion of the demonstrators does not represent all the people.
And Al-Ziyadi said in a radio statement that I followed (Al-Maalouma), "The political blocs were unable to agree on a popularly accepted personality despite the understanding of the parties of the building alliance, the sensitivity of the stage, which is likely to remain Abdul Mahdi and his government in the event that the week passed without passing a figure to head the government."
He added, "The view of the demonstrators (rejecting) all the names proposed for the presidency is not representative of all the Iraqi people, as the opinion of the other components of the people, such as Sunnis, Kurds, and Shiites who are not involved in the demonstrations, must be heard."
Al-Ziyadi had warned in a previous statement to "Al-Maalouma", against the consequences of continuing the constitutional vacuum, indicating that external parties are seeking civil war amid political chaos. Ended / 25
