Rusafa agriculture: Marketing one million eggs and 314 tons of fish within a month

The Baghdad Agriculture Directorate, Rusafa, announced, Thursday, the marketing of more than one million eggs, 314 tons of fish and 160 tons of slaughtered chicken to local markets during the month of December of last year.
A statement of the Ministry of Agriculture received / information /, a copy of it, from the Animal Wealth Department of the Directorate of Agriculture in the Rusafa side as saying, “The quantities produced of eggs, chicken and fish were marketed during the month of December of last year to meet the local market’s need for animal products, where the number Projects that produce chickens are 17 projects, and cooperation and follow-up are ongoing by technical staff with livestock breeders.
And the Rusafa Agriculture Directorate added, "The main goal that it seeks to achieve is to reach self-sufficiency."
The statement continued, “The Baghdad Agricultural Directorate in Rusafa, in cooperation with the agricultural extension and training departments, poultry, livestock and agricultural people, within the department’s work. And under the supervision of technical cadres as well as seminars on preparing and purifying animal cultures in order to increase local production. Ended / 25
