Agriculture announces the marketing of 291 tonnes of fish and 458,000 live chickens to local markets

BAGHDAD - Baghdad's
Agriculture Directorate announced on Tuesday that it marketed 291 tonnes of fish and 458,000 live chickens to local markets during March this year.
"The Directorate has marketed 291 tons of fish and marketed more than 458,000 live chickens to local markets during the month of March of this year," a statement issued by the Directorate said. Fish to reduce the risk of pests and epidemics affecting fish stocks ".
The statement added that "the Directorate seeks to meet the need of the local market, has been marketing 458 thousands of live chickens through fifteen projects of production of meat breeder and rate of 1500 grams per chicken."
Most of these projects fall within the agricultural initiative and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture
