The Independent / Lebanese "Al-Mayadeen" channel reported on Friday that Israeli fighters attacked a truck that claimed to have weapons inside the Iraqi-Syrian border.
Iraqi field sources told the channel that a powerful explosion was heard in the Iraqi border region of Al-Qaim, minutes after flying pieces of air in the adjacent area of Albukamal, Syria.
Iraqi tribal officials told the channel that the attack targeted trucks and people.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that an attack by an unidentified aircraft targeted weapons and vehicles stores for the pro-Iranian popular crowd in the Albukamal area.
The observatory and Iraqi security sources said that the shelling killed 8 members of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization and wounded others.
Israel is fighting the Iranian military issue in Syria, and transferring weapons of imbalance of power, from Iran to Hezbollah in Lebanon, passing through Iraq and Syria.
On Wednesday night, Iran launched ballistic missiles at two American bases in Iraq: Ain Al-Assad base in the west of the country, and a base near Erbil in the north.
