Deputy: Strategic Planning Committee will monitor Allawi government's program

Mp Badr al-Ziadi, a member of parliament, confirmed the parliament's intention to monitor the government program of prime minister-designate Mohamed Tawfiq Allawi after the vote.
"There is an official committee in parliament called the Strategic Planning Committee and the Follow-up of the Government Program," mp Badr al-Ziadi said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (AA). The work of the government and the extent to which the government program is implemented."
"This committee will continue its work by monitoring the government program to see how it is implemented on the ground and the achievements achieved," he said.
President Barham Saleh Mohamed Tawfiq Allawi has been tasked with forming the new government.
Prime Minister-designate Mohamed Tawfiq Allawi pledged to form a government that represents all factions and rejected party candidates, as well as fighting corruption, creating jobs and dissolving economic committees of political factions.
