Member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee Badr Al-Ziyadi revealed, on Wednesday, American pressure that prevented the contracting to buy weapons.
And Al-Ziyadi said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "there are companies and traders pushing towards preventing [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] from contracting to buy weapons from developed countries."
He added that "these companies are directly linked to America and Israel and control the arms markets," noting that "these companies are trying to sell scrap weapons to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] instead of contracting with solid companies."
