The co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Lahore Sheikh Genki, on Monday, suggested that the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government reached an agreement on oil with the federal government.

"It is likely that the delegation of the regional government and the federal government will reach an agreement on oil and pending issues next Thursday, March 4, 2021," Genki said during a press conference followed by "People" (March 1, 2021).
Regarding the alternative options if the agreement "faltered," Sheikh Genki said, "God willing, we will not reach this estrangement," indicating that "the chances of a solution are more likely."
