The US ambassador to Iraq, Matthew Toller, said today, Thursday, his concern about the continued bombing of some convoys carrying aid to Iraq.
Armed groups have targeted some of the convoys that transport logistical support to the International Coalition in Iraq.
Toller said, during statements to a group of journalists, that "the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington focused on common aspects as well as on the interest of Iraq."
He added, "The dialogue demonstrated the serious commitment of President Biden."
Toller indicated that his country was satisfied with the strong support provided by the Iraqi government in protecting foreign installations.
Yesterday, the third round of the strategic dialogue took place between Baghdad and Washington, where they agreed to set a timetable for the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq.
