AL-SUDANI COMMENTS ON THE POSSIBILITY OF DECLARING AN EMERGENCY GOVERNMENT IN IRAQ

    Thursday, May 27, 2021 2:50 PM

Today, Thursday, a member of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, commented on the possibility of declaring an emergency government in Iraq and postponing the elections beyond their specified date.
Al-Sudani said in a special statement to the "National News Center" that "there is no truth to this news, nor is it possible to obtain it in the first place, and it is nothing more than distorted statements aimed at confusing public opinion."
He pointed out that "the current situation is more stable than ever before. Everyone is convinced that the upcoming elections are a must, especially in light of the ongoing challenges and the failure of government performance at all levels."
