And the ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Abadi, told Al-Furat News: "The technical electrical connection project with the Gulf countries has been completed by 88%, and negotiations are underway with the Gulf Interconnection Authority to agree on the tariff price."
He pointed out, "No agreement has been reached on the tariff price at the present time, and if the agreement is reached, the Al-Faw station will be linked with the Al-Zour station inside Kuwait."
And Al-Abadi said, "The cost of constructing the line will be included in the tariff price, and the tariff price will be based on the amount of energy granted."
