Shafaq News/ The Parliament of Kurdistan Region announced, on Tuesday, the postponement of a scheduled meeting of the Presidency until the 24th of this month, while indicating that the next meeting will include the heads of the political blocs in Parliament.
Parliament Secretary Mona Kahwagi said in a brief press statement, which was followed by Shafak News; "The meeting, which was scheduled to be held today between the President of the Regional Parliament, her deputy and the Secretary of Parliament, has been postponed to the 24th of this month," without disclosing the reason for the delay.
Kahwaji added that "the next meeting will be expanded and will include the presidency of the parliament with the heads of political blocs."
The Presidency of the Parliament in the Kurdistan Region decided to hold a meeting after 75 days of not holding parliament sessions due to political differences between the blocs on the electoral law in the region and the re-formation of the Electoral Commission.
