[size=45]Kurdistan Region intends to launch a brand in a move that would attract more foreign investments to the region, according to the Investment Authority.[/size]
[size=45]Diversification of sources of income, especially through investment, is one of the top priorities of the regional government, which is striving not to rely on the single source of oil.[/size]
[size=45]The Investment Authority said in a statement issued Thursday that its Chairman, Mohamed Shoukry, discussed with the Head of the Department of Information and Information, Gutiar Adel, the mechanisms for launching the investment sector's brand.[/size]
[size=45]She added that the two sides discussed the importance of adopting a private brand, as is the case in developed countries, with the aim of attracting foreign capital to various investment sectors.[/size]
[size=45]The statement did not provide additional details about the brand or its launch date.[/size]
[size=45]And the KRG has previously stated that the financial and political crises will not stop its program in establishing a sustainable infrastructure through long-term service projects.[/size]
