More than 4 million people have passed back and forth from a border crossing between Iran and Iraq

Shafaq News/ The Director General of the External Roads Department in Ilam Province, western Iran, "Sayed Zahedin" announced, on Saturday, that more than 4 million people have passed back and forth at the "Mahran" international border crossing bordering Iraq.
The Iranian official said in a press statement that during the eight months of this year, 75 thousand and 972 tons of materials and goods were entered into Iraq from other countries through (transit) from the Mahran border crossing through 4 thousand and 478 truckloads.
He added that 4 million, 559 thousand, and 568 people of Iranian nationality and foreigners passed the Mahran crossing back and forth to and from Iraq.
