    BAGHDAD - ((eighth day))

    Reliable sources confirmed, early Wednesday, that the former Minister of Finance Rafie al-Issawi arrived in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, accompanied by the governor of Nineveh Ethel Nujaifi part of a deal to end a three-submitted files against al-Issawi and other officials, most notably Tariq al-Hashimi and Abdul-Nasser al-Janabi, Mohammed al-Daini.

    The sources indicated that American diplomats on the one hand and the National Security Adviser Faleh al-Fayad, a representative of the Iraqi government, on the other hand they were parties to the deal, in addition to the governor of Nineveh Ethel Nujaifi the aim of achieving reconciliation.

    The sources said that "al-Issawi arrived on a private jet with Ethel Nujaifi They walked for overnight at the home of Vice President Osama al-Issawi in preparation for display on the judiciary to end the file against him."

    To that other sources said that "al-Issawi was not up yet, but Baghdad will arrive tomorrow unlike Ethel Nujaifi, who arrived in the last minute."
