    Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Transport announced the start of the first steps to actually complete the development road project.
    A spokesman for the Ministry of Transport, Shatha Radi, said, "The first steps to complete the development path have actually begun, and a headquarters for the project has been established at the global station of the General Company for Iraqi Railways, in which all discussions, meetings, correspondences, and correspondences will be devoted, whether with the Italian consulting company, BEG." And with the local governments in the governorates, to find out the extent to which this line can be established within the borders of the governorates.
    Rady added, "The ministry has intensive meetings and continuous visits to its Minister, Abdul-Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, the most recent of which was his visit to Spain and opening up to major international companies and visiting the main stations and major giant companies in Spain that specialize in the train industry, tunnel construction and railways."
    And she continued: "There was a welcome in Spain to contribute to the development path project, and the ministry is still holding continuous meetings with countries with which Iraq has economic completion, especially neighboring countries, as discussions, interventions and discussions are delivered to define the extent of benefit and feasibility of this project to participate in it." .
    She stressed that "the ministry is in the process of completing the link road that connects the large port of Faw to the submerged tunnel or to the port of Umm Qasr, and this line is linked to the international highway or the road of the development project, and its length is 63 kilometers."
     
    She pointed out that "the completion of advanced stages of the road, and it will be completed in the near future as the first stage of the development road project, and it will transport goods and be a link between the large port of Faw and the development road."
