    Economists believe that implementing the automation system will contribute to reducing tax evasion and help control the entry and exit of goods and control their value.
    Economic expert Safwan Qusay said, “Iraq is trying to implement a comprehensive electronic system not only for airports, given that the Ministry of Finance has included an integrated financial administrative system within the 2023 budget. This system will transfer the movement of goods entering the country from border ports, whether air, sea, or land, to an integrated system that shows... We have the goods that will enter Iraqi territory, their value, and the mechanism of financial transactions.”
    Qusay added, “The automation system will reduce the chances of corrupt people changing the type of goods or manipulating their value in order to evade customs, and the fully electronic process will contribute to reducing manipulation. It is also a financial system that is compatible with the goods system so that we have an integrated financial description for all types of goods that enter the territory.” Iraqi airports from all airports.
