Today, Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Baghdad Palace, the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Gamal Rashid, received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Iraq, Walid Muhammad Ismail, on the occasion of the end of his duties.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic affirmed the depth of brotherly relations and cooperation between Iraq and sisterly Egypt, praising the efforts of the Egyptian ambassador to improve relations between Baghdad and Cairo, and wishing him all success in performing his future duties.
In turn, Walid Muhammad Ismail expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic, stressing his positive interaction on the path to developing Iraqi-Egyptian relations.
