    The representative of the coordination framework, Ali Turki, confirmed today, Friday, that the Shiite framework will not interfere in the file of choosing the new speaker of parliament after the dismissal of Muhammad Al-Halbousi on charges of forgery by a decision of the Federal Court, pointing out that Parliament will vote on who will be chosen after the component’s agreement. Sunni opinion on a specific candidate for the aforementioned position.
    Turki told Al-Maalouma Agency, “The choice of the new speaker of the House of Representatives will be decided by the political parties in the Sunni component, as the rest of the parties will go with the name that the Sunnis come up with to be voted on in Parliament.”
    He added, "The Speaker of Parliament is a position reserved for Sunnis, and the rest of the components will not interfere with this choice, as is the case when choosing the Prime Minister, and this matter leads to the stability of the components with their various names."
    He stated that "the Shiite framework has certain constants that work according to it, especially with regard to the file of choosing the presidency, as this matter is left to each component that determines the personality nominated for the position, to be voted on in Parliament." Ended 25 n
