He pointed out that there is cooperation with the American company "Baxter", which is the largest in the world in the field of peritoneal dialysis and covers the needs of 80 percent of the global market, and is almost the only one successful in this field, in addition to producing anesthesia and cancer medicines and has pharmaceutical factories in other countries.
He noted that the company had begun preliminary procedures for the purpose of treating Iraqi patients, to include 250 patients in the Najaf and Basra governorates, indicating that the Prime Minister sponsored the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the company to include 5,000 patients throughout Iraq with this technology, describing this technology as a major qualitative and service leap and a revolution in the field of treatment.
