Lavrov: There is no alternative to resuming the political process with North Korea

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Moscow is convinced that there is no alternative to resuming the political process with North Korea and is ready for dialogue with Pyongyang.
"We are convinced that there is no alternative to resuming the political process, especially the six-party talks," Lavrov told reporters on Tuesday.
"Both Russia and China have put forward proposals in this regard, and we will promote them in New York and elsewhere, and of course, we will continue dialogue with our neighbors in North Korea," he said.
The United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted on Saturday a tougher sanctions against North Korea in response to ballistic missile fire from Pyongyang in July. Sf
