The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and Kurdistan (PUK) have completed writing the Kurdish negotiating paper, which is ready for submission to the rest of the winning forces in the May 12 legislative elections.

"This paper represents all the Kurdish forces participating in the federal elections, because they were based on the electoral programs of the forces and political parties in the Kurdistan region," said the spokesman of the National Union Saadi Ahmed Perah in a press statement.

As for the most prominent paragraphs of the Kurdish paper and its content, Bireh explained: "It was based on the need to respect and represent the Kurds in the diplomatic corps and in economic and financial institutions, and set dates for the census and legislation of the law of the Council of the Union complementary to the legislative authority."

He continued: "One of the most important points included in the paper the application of the Constitution to resolve all the problems and differences between Baghdad and Erbil," noting that: "The principles of the current negotiating paper is similar to the Kurdish paper submitted to the political forces in 2010."

"The Kurdish forces will be their share in the new government one of the three presidencies and the ministry of sovereignty and service and a technical third, in addition to two independent bodies, while ensuring proper representation of the Kurds in the diplomatic corps and the presence of financial and economic institutions of a federal nature."
