The Saudi Ministry of Energy confirmed that the Kingdom will export gas soon, in conjunction with the American threat to Iraq to stop extending the exemption from importing gas from Iran.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Saudi Minister of Energy, said today, during the inauguration of the activities of the "SABIC 2020 Conference" which will be held in the eastern region today, Sunday, that the exploitation of oil and gas will bring about a qualitative shift in the field of energy, and we are seeking to integrate the electrical system by introducing wind energy.
He pointed out that the main primary goal of establishing the Ministry of Energy is to expand the development of energy sources and create an integrated system of these sources.
The Minister of Energy revealed that the Kingdom is in the process of announcing a topic that will be a source of pride in the energy sector, expressing his hope to announce it in the "near future", and that the program, whose details will be announced as a national program, will be implemented according to a road plan within the next two months related to the circular carbon economy in which "Aramco" participates. "SABIC", "KAUST" and "CAPSARC", the CDM, the Ministry of Energy, the G20 Secretariat and some of the agencies responsible for implementing this program.
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper revealed on Sunday that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo shouted at the outgoing Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and told him to forget the issue of exclusion from Iranian sanctions in the event of repeated attacks on American headquarters in Iraq.
