Hoth: Iraq is still on the European list of high risk countries

"Despite [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] serious efforts in combating money laundering and terrorist financing, it is still on the European list of high-risk countries in this field, and the European Union shares the Iraqi government’s desire to remove [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] from the list as soon as possible," Hawth said in a statement.
"Combating money laundering is a major priority for the European Union and all its member states," Hoth added, noting that "the mission acts as an interlocutor between the European Union institutions in Brussels and the Iraqi government for the purpose of combating money laundering and combating terrorist financing.
