, the extension movement announced, today, Thursday, an initiative to form the largest bloc of independents and parliamentary blocs.
The movement said in a statement received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that "at a time when our movement has urged the masses of the people, since its inception, to actively participate in the elections and not to boycott in order to produce a national parliament capable of achieving the desired change that the Iraqi people aspire to, who have suffered both at the hands of The failed and feuding political class, at this time the political forces failed miserably in passing the President of the Republic and forming the government, and this failure was reflected in the violation of the constitutional deadlines and the underestimation of their obligations towards the people and the homeland, which in turn led to the disruption of the people’s interests and complete paralysis in the wheel of state building,” according to the text of the statement.
She added, "Although our movement's deputies and some independents, and in compliance with the constitutional timings and what they pledged to God and the people, they fully committed themselves to attending the sessions, out of their belief in respect for the constitutional timings and the formation of the government.
