Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the start of a campaign to issue smart cards for those covered by the social protection subsidy.
A statement by the ministry stated, "The Social Protection Authority in the Ministry has begun work through its branches and divisions in Baghdad and the governorates, by issuing smart cards (Ki Cards) for citizens applying to be included in social protection within the first course."
The statement indicated, "The authority's branches have, since the early hours of the morning, mobilized their work to receive citizens covered by the first meal, according to the review dates fixed in the schedules, to issue (KiCard) cards to them after bringing all supporting documents, photocopied and original."
He added, "The social protection departments will continue to issue cards to all citizens whose names appeared even after the official working hours and until the completion of all citizens' transactions."
