Today, Thursday, the House of Representatives adjourned its session after voting and reading a number of laws.
The media department of the House of Representatives said in a statement: "Parliament adjourned its session after voting and reading a number of laws," indicating, "The House voted on the draft law of the second amendment to the Law of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs No. (8) for the year 2006."
And she added, "The Council finished the first reading of the draft law ratifying the Republic of Iraq on the Arab Convention to Prevent and Combat Human Cloning."
And she pointed out, "The House of Representatives also completed the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the agreement signed on July 28 / 1994 regarding the implementation of Part Eleven of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea."
She pointed out, "The House of Representatives has completed the report and discussion of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention on Intervention on the High Seas in the event of Oil Pollution Accidents of 1969 and the 1973 Protocol on Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Pollution with Substances Other than Oil."
And the media department indicated that "the House of Representatives finished the report and discussion of the draft law of the second amendment to the Law of Scientific and Consulting Services Offices in Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions No. (7) for the year 1997."
