The Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed today, Wednesday, that more than 16 million voters are entitled to participate in the elections.
Commission spokeswoman Jumana Al-Ghalai said, “The Commission worked to print biometric cards for voters who registered their data since 3/20/2022.”
She added, "The number of registered and updated voters reached one million, 977 thousand and 369 voters," noting that "the Commission is now in the process of printing their biometric cards and they will be distributed next November."
She pointed out that "the total number of voters who are entitled to participate in the elections is 16 million 158 thousand and 788 voters in 15 governorates." Ended 29/H
