Iraqi Ambassador to Egypt Habib al-Sadr revealed on Sunday a meeting between Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and his Egyptian counterpart Sharif Ismail to head the joint high committee between the two countries.
"It is hoped that the High Joint Committee of the two countries will meet at the level of the heads of the Council of Ministers of the two countries in Baghdad soon," he said in an interview with Al-Watan newspaper. "He said.
He added that "there is an Iraqi-Egyptian interest to deepen the level of relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of trade, energy and industrial capacity development."
"There is an Iraqi-Egyptian interest in the exchange of expertise and information in the field of combating terrorism and drying up its sources at the regional level," he said. Ending / 25
