Mubasher : The head of a hedge fund warned of the next economic slowdown that will face the United States in conjunction with the rapid disposal of monetary policies facilitator.
Paul Todor Jones said at a Goldman Sachs event on Monday that the next recession in the US economy would be really scary because of the lack of stability in terms of the financial position.
Jones said that monetary easing policies will be quickly eliminated, pointing out that there are no financial stability factors.
Jones noted that the Fed's drive to try to normalize interest rate policy from the financial crisis in 2007 and 2009 was unsustainable, in reference to stock valuations that many on the Wall Street Stock Exchange believe are overvalued.
Jones's comments came after he told CNBC last week that bond yields would rise "madly" as equities rose .
Jones was credited with predicting the collapse of the global stock exchanges on October 19, 1987, when the Dow Jones index saw a loss of nearly 23% of its value.
