    Baghdad - The 
    Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Sunday, the agenda of the tripartite meeting held at its headquarters among Iraqi Foreign Ministers, Mohammed al-Hakim, Jordanian Ayman Safadi, and Egyptian Sameh Shukri. 
    Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmad al-Sahaf said in an interview with Sputnik that "the ministry's headquarters is witnessing on Sunday a tripartite meeting between Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim and his Egyptian and Jordanian counterparts." The meeting is an extension of the tripartite summit held in Cairo in advance, and attended by the Prime Minister of Iraq, Adel Abdul Mahdi, the King of Jordan, King Abdullah II, and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi. "
    Al-Sahaf added that "the tripartite meeting deals with a number of issues and issues, foremost of which is the exchange of support to confront all forms of terrorism and ways of enabling bilateral relations between Iraq, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan."

    On the issue of the "Deal of the Century" and "American-Iranian escalation," Al-Sahaf pointed out to "the three ministers' interest in intensifying the dialogue on all developments and transformations at the level of the region."
    He stressed that "this position is to commit to positive neutrality, which is based on sticking to the most important gains achieved by Iraq in the recent period, and Baghdad will spare no effort to establish stability at the level of the region." 
    As for Syria, al-Sahaf stressed that "Iraq adheres to the unity and sovereignty of Syria, supports the parties to the Syrian-Syrian crisis in a peaceful political dialogue, and the same in Libya and Yemen, while the Palestinian issue remains the core of Iraq's political thinking.     Shafaq News / The foreign ministers of Iraq, Jordan and Egypt discussed in a tripartite meeting held in Baghdad a number of political and economic issues and files, foremost of which is the anti-terrorism file and support for Iraq in the post-Saddam era. 
    The tripartite meeting dealt with a number of files, headed by the file of combating terrorism and after the elimination of the organization "Daash," and support Iraq in the files of reconstruction in the liberated areas and refugees. 
    The economic file is one of the main objectives in Iraq, which seeks to diversify partnerships, and the various economic circles that allow openness to the other, as well as the stabilization of security and stability in the region as a whole, and the consolidation of cooperation and joint Arab action. 
    The spokesman of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry earlier, that the meeting confirms the support of their countries to "the Palestinian cause, and the right of the Palestinian people to establish a state with East Jerusalem as its capital."
    "The meeting reflects the keenness of the three countries to continuously consult on the various pivotal issues of concern to the three countries and the region as a whole," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmad al-Sahaf said in a statement on Saturday. 
    He stressed that the meeting comes to implement the outcomes of the tripartite summit held in Cairo in the presence of Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and to achieve common goals.
    Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri arrived in Baghdad earlier Sunday to meet with their Iraqi counterpart Mohammad Ali al-Hakim and participate in the tripartite meeting at the foreign ministers' level in the Iraqi capital.
