The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee announced, on Tuesday, the completion of the investigation in the provinces that witnessed violence.
The head of the committee, Mohamed Reda, said, "The fact-finding committee completed the investigation in the governorates that witnessed violence, except for the governorate of Dhi Qar, due to the incomplete statements of the officers, headed by General Jamil al-Shammari."
He added that "the investigation will be completed in the coming days in the province of Dhi Qar and will be sent to the judiciary."
Speaker of Parliament Muhammad Al-Halbousi instructed the Security and Defense Committee to move to Dhi Qar and Najaf governorates to draw up a security plan to protect the demonstrators. Ended 29 / A 43
