(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Minister of Defense congratulated Jumah Inad, on Saturday, on the anniversary of the establishment of the ground forces, while noting that their lions are qualified to impose Iraqi sovereignty, and the swords are the ones that have tasted and the remnants of terror have passed through defeat and betrayal.

Minister Enad said in a statement that the Euphrates News received a copy of: “On the fifteenth of May of every year, the boldness of the army from the ground forces of all kinds and their weapons celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the ground forces, whose lions are painted in the heroism, sacrifice, redemption, victory and liberation fields the most beautiful pictures. "Which framed their defenses from the mourning and soil of the dear homeland, in which they proved that they are qualified to impose Iraqi sovereignty, and the swords of the Sovereign, which have been tasted, and the remnants of terror are still bitter defeat and betrayal."
He added, "Today, we celebrate the Iraqi Land Forces Day, commending at the same time their heroic deeds and humanitarian initiatives that the people and their armed forces are proud of, congratulating their fighters on their tenderest anniversary, recalling the veneration and glory of their righteous martyrs and their heroic wounded, blessing them, our beloved Iraq and our heroic army the successive and achieved victories in the fight against ISIS gangs."
