    Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Agriculture revealed its efforts to absorb veterinary medicine graduates, while confirming that it had sent data on the required numbers to the Federal Service Council.
    The technical representative of the Ministry of Agriculture Mithaq Abdul-Hussein Al-Khafaji said, "The appointment of veterinarians has been centrally suspended since 1988 by a decision of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council," noting that "the Ministry of Agriculture has reactivated the law of veterinary medical gradation and raised the numbers it needs of graduates starting from the year 2003." and upwards."
    Al-Khafaji added that "the ministry is trying to find ways to contain veterinary graduates before 2003 to meet the needs of veterinary institutions," noting that "the ministry had previously sent to the Federal Service Council data on the numbers, ratios and specializations it needs, which amounted to 1,400 job degrees resulting from retirees, deceased and job leavers." .
    He explained that "the service council will send this data to the Ministry of Finance in order to create grades and allocate the necessary funds that ensure transparency and that everyone can apply for appointment through the electronic window," noting that "the instructions of the federal budget for the year 2021 confirmed that any deletion and creation in job grades. be through the Federal Service Council.
    With regard to loans, Al-Khafaji stressed that "the agricultural loans for farmers are continuing, but the funds allocated to them are affected by the federal budget," noting that "who manages the lending process is the Agricultural Bank and the Agricultural Initiative."
    He pointed out that "the projects are divided between complementary and sustainable, such as tomato paste, molasses and oils that can be developed into industrial crops in the event of abundance," stressing that "these projects declined after 2003 due to market chaos and commodity dumping of imports."
    Al-Khafaji called for "the necessity of revitalizing the private sector, as a supporter of the government sector and a partner that equals the national responsibility in the fields of agriculture and industrial agriculture, which form the backbone of the market economy in any country."
