Shafaq News/ Al-Rafidain Bank announced, on Saturday evening, that it will begin, as of tomorrow, Sunday, to promote the transactions of the advances of employees covered by the advances and loans for the purchase of the residential house.
In a statement today, the bank called on employees covered by an advance of 25 million and a loan of 150 million for the purchase of a residence to review its branches tomorrow to submit, promote and obtain their transactions.
On the seventh of March, the bank launched housing loans amounting to 150 million dinars, to citizens and employees whose salaries are domiciled with the bank.
It is noteworthy that Iraq suffers from a stifling housing crisis due to the increase in its population compared to the number of housing complexes, in addition to the inability of the individual with limited income to build his own housing unit due to the high cost of land and construction materials.
The Ministry of Construction and Housing estimates that Iraq needs more than three million housing units to fill the country's housing crisis.
