Work begins promoting small loan transactions to the unemployed

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, on Wednesday, the start of promoting small loan transactions for unemployed beneficiaries within the 30th batch.
The director of the Department of Labor and Vocational Training, Raed Jabbar Bahed, said in a statement reported by Al-Sabah newspaper, which was seen by the information, that “small loan transactions have been initiated for the unemployed within the 30th batch, and the borrowers’ transactions will be completed on the condition that there is a sponsor for a military, civil or retired employee. ”
Bahid explained that "the number of beneficiaries whose names appeared in the aforementioned batch is 224 thousand unemployed, but the department will release loans to five thousand of them, and the names have been published on the ministry's website, while the rest of the payments will be included later."
He indicated that "the loan will be repaid one year after receiving the loan document," noting that the beneficiaries of the loans will have their names removed from the ministry's database of job seekers.
He continued, "The ministry has set a period for promoting loan transactions within three months, after which the right of the included lapses, announcing that" the ministry will issue payments every three months to the unemployed and grant them the loan according to the allocations available in the loan fund. "
Bahedh indicated to "coordination with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Central Bank and relevant authorities to support the unemployed loan project with the aim of launching all payments in succession to provide a living environment for this segment that is compatible with the current economic situation."
