Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein received, today, Tuesday, Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg, where the latter promised to approach the European Union to remove sanctions on Iraqi Airways.
Hussein said during a press conference with Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn during a joint press conference, that he "discussed with the Luxembourg Foreign Minister about lifting the sanctions imposed by the European Union on Iraqi Airways," noting that "Anselbon promised to lift these sanctions."
He added that "the two sides also discussed the issue of immigration to Europe and the war in Ukraine," stressing that "stopping the war in Ukraine requires intensive efforts from the international community."
