Integrity announces the recruitment of the governor of Salah al-Din on the background of blackmail and bribery
Shafaq News/ The Integrity Commission revealed, on Sunday, the issuance of a summons order against the governor of Salah al-Din; Against the background of extortion, and receiving sums of money from one of the contractors.
And the Commission's Investigation Department, while talking about the case that it investigated and referred it to the judiciary, stated that the Second Karkh Investigation Court issued a summons order against the governor of Salah al-Din on the grounds of accusing him of blackmailing one of the contractors and taking money and wheels from him; In return for releasing his financial dues for the projects he implemented in the governorate, as well as other projects and dues.
The department added that the recruitment order issued by the Second Karkh Investigation Court was issued in accordance with the provisions of Resolution (160 of 1983).
Paragraph (Second - 1) of Resolution 160 of 1983 includes: Imposing a prison sentence of no more than ten years and a fine on every public servant or person charged with a public service who requests or accepts for himself or for others a gift, benefit, advantage, or promise of something like that; To perform or refrain from doing an act of his job, or to breach the duties of the job.
