Minister indicates the "risks" of threatening the entity of the Kurdistan Region and returns it to the two administrations
Shafaq News/ The Minister of Construction and Housing in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Dana Abdul Karim, warned on Sunday of the dangers threatening the constitutional entity of the Kurdistan Region and returning it to the two administrations.
The minister's speech, who represents the Change Movement in the Kurdistan Regional Government, came as a comment on the discussions that the KDP ministerial delegation is conducting with the rest of the parties in Kurdistan.
Abdul Karim said in a statement to reporters, that the danger still looms over the entity of the Kurdistan Region, explaining that "until now in terms of financial, in terms of the armed forces, and geographical distribution, we do not have a unified government administration, and these risks that we are talking about are serious in every when".
He added that "as long as we do not have unity in administration, unified forces, and lack of unification of financial sources of income, these matters will certainly affect and always endanger a territorial entity because our forces and money are divided and geographically divided as well."
The minister continued by saying that according to the program of the current formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government between the three parties (the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and the Change Movement), a higher committee representing the people of Kurdistan must be formed, and this falls on its shoulders to conduct dialogues to resolve differences and outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad.
