About $60 million in cash sales from the Central Bank of Iraq

Shafaq News/ On Monday, the Central Bank of Iraq's cash sales amounted to about $60 million in a currency auction in which 35 banks participated.
Shafaq News agency reporter stated that the Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, 135,226,314 dollars, covering it at a base exchange rate of 1,460 dinars per dollar.
Our correspondent added that cash sales rose in today's auction to reach 59 million and 40 thousand dollars compared to yesterday, Sunday, when cash sales amounted to 22 million dollars, while remittances and external credits amounted to 76 million 186 thousand and 314 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that the number of banks that bought the cash dollar amounted to 16, while the number of banks that responded to requests for strengthening balances abroad reached 19, and the total number of exchange and mediation companies participating in the auction reached 212 companies.
