    The Minister of Water Resources, Aoun Diab Abdullah, stressed today, Saturday, the need to strengthen international relations to develop cooperation and develop solutions to the water crisis, while noting that the water conference seeks to find solutions to alleviate the crisis.

    He added, "The Iraqi government has paid great attention to the file through decisions that gave priority to confronting climate changes," noting that "the water conference is an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing water resources and find solutions based on the foundations of cooperation at the international and regional levels."

    And the Minister of Water Resources continued: "It is necessary to strengthen international relations to develop cooperation and establish a large cooperation platform concerned with developing solutions to the water crisis."

    Diab stressed that "the water conference seeks to find solutions that will alleviate the crisis and find sources for rational consumption of water."
