The Ministry of Transport announced, on Wednesday, the participation of 10 countries in the Development Road Conference, which is scheduled to be held next Saturday in the capital, Baghdad.
The ministry said in a statement, "The ministry continues its preparations for the Development Path Conference, under the guidance of the conference's preparatory committee, which is chaired by Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi."
The ministry stated that "the countries to which the Ministry of Transport invited to attend the conference are (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Iran), and all of these countries have confirmed their desire to attend and participate in the activities of the conference." .
She added, "The conference will be held in the government palace inside the Green Zone, next Saturday (May 27), and will last for one day only," pointing out that "the conference will witness the official announcement of the project in order to know the countries that seriously wish to join the project." .
