Latif, advisor to the Prime Minister for components affairs, Nawfal Bahaa Musa, considered that the situation of components at the present time is better than ever, pointing to the existence of a proposal to hold a conference for Iraqi communities abroad inside the country.
Moussa told Al-Sabah: "The reality of the components has changed a lot to be better than before. Parliamentary representation exists, and they are integrated with the various security forces and the popular crowd in defending their lands when they were invaded by terrorist gangs."
He added, "The government is studying a proposal to hold an international conference for Iraqi communities abroad, within the framework of working to restore a large number of them, especially the minds and competencies that left Iraq due to the deteriorating security situation at the time," noting that "the government will work to hold this conference, especially with the presence of a number that does not exist." It is underestimated by the Iraqi communities abroad and the willingness of many of them to return to the country.
And the advisor stated that "the conference will take place in coordination between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Displaced and the National Investment Commission, and it will be by addressing the Iraqi embassies abroad to list the personalities who can attend the conference so that there is a quality that the country can benefit from from elites and competencies known in the Arab world and internationally."
Musa emphasized the work on the topic of "the media policy of the components, as there is no direct broadcast by the media of the masses that are held in the religious celebrations of Christians, and the news is devoid of meetings with fathers, priests, and bishops to convey the correct idea to the rest of the components, whether they are Yazidis, Sabians, and the rest of the other components, so that they do not There will be a feeling by the people of the components that they are in this country of the second degree.”
And the advisor to the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, for the affairs of the components, continued that "all components need a transparent and clear media that reaches all the people of the people and informs the rest of the components of the occasions that they celebrate and a historical overview about them," noting that "the meeting with officials in this aspect and the meeting with artists, decision-makers and media professionals from Various satellite channels and representatives of the components to listen to them and reach good results in this matter.
