On Wednesday, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Alia Nassif, called on the government to file a complaint before the UN Security Council to reconsider its Resolution 833 related to border demarcation with the Kuwaiti side, pointing out that Iraq was subject to injustice in the Khore Abdullah file.

Nassif said in an interview with "The Information", that "any demarcation of the borders that affects the border situation of Iraq is rejected, and even negotiation about it is rejected, especially since the documents on which Kuwait and Saudi Arabia rely are illegal, In addition to the fact that Iraq's borders with Kuwait were forcibly demarcated when Iraq was under Chapter VII, and therefore it is an invalid demarcation.
She added, “The UN Security Council Resolution (833) related to the demarcation of the borders with Kuwait was issued during the fall of Iraq under Chapter VII, and his presence under this chapter means that he is disqualified, and today he has the legal opportunity to file a complaint before the Security Council for reconsideration and not to cancel the decision to lift the gross injustice that he signed a special robbing him of his right to Khawr Abdullah.”
Nassif indicated, "The Sudanese government must not allow it to be absent from any negotiations related to borders," stressing that "it must exercise its role as an international legal center in the issue of borders."
And she continued, "Iraq has a legal reason to file a complaint about the decision related to the demarcation of the border with the Kuwaiti side, about the fact that it was under Chapter VII and was incapacitated when it was demarcated."
