Today, Thursday, the National Retirement Authority announced the disbursement of end-of-service benefits to 5,600 retirees as part of the October meal for the year 2023.
The deputy head of the authority, Hossam Abdel Sattar, said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency, followed by “Al-Iqtisad News”, that “the end-of-service reward was disbursed to retirees for the October meal for the year 2023 as part of the support package for the retirees segment launched by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani,” pointing out that “The end-of-service gratuity is paid 48 hours after the first retirement salary for retired employees.”
He added, "The National Retirement Authority disbursed end-of-service benefits to 5,600 retirees," noting that "the total amount amounted to 60 billion dinars for the segment of civilians, military personnel, and martyrs of the defense, interior, and mobilization forces."
