Economic circles welcomed the establishment of the Iraqi-Chinese Business Council and considered it a step on the path to achieving integration that leads to benefit for both countries, through the availability of wealth in Iraq, matched by Chinese technology and capital, which enables entering into bilateral partnerships that lead to the development of important economic aspects, especially in light of the seriousness it possesses. Executive Director of the Iraq Fund for Development, Muhammad al-Najjar, told Al-Sabah: China is an important title on the list of the global economy, and the establishment of the Iraqi-Chinese Business Council will bring great benefit to the country, as it aims to regulate the reality of economic relations in one of its aspects.
He pointed out that China's experiences in addressing economic challenges are referred to as Lebanon and can be used in Iraq to create effective economic sectors in the fields of production and services, especially since Iraq aspires to create effective expertise in all sectors without exception and for Iraq to return as a source of expertise that provided services to various countries of the world. .
He confirmed the existence of "renewed commercial and industrial projects between Iraq and China," pointing out that "the Iraqi-Chinese Business Council will be a platform for businessmen from both countries."
Economic expert Bassem Jamil Antoine described strengthening economic cooperation with China as important, and said: Iraq needs a real specialized effort to complete the large number of projects within the Iraqi labor market, pointing to the possibility of starting the first steps of real development in cooperation with partners who have international economic weight capable of Overcoming all technical and financing challenges.
He pointed out that the Iraqi labor market encourages work and expansion within it, as it is one of the markets that requires a large volume of work and a wide and renewable job opportunity, and this characteristic is almost unique in Iraq from other countries in the world, but this matter requires creating an ideal work environment that is attractive to international investment efforts. .
The economic affairs specialist, Aqeel Karam Al Hamad, pointed out the importance of establishing the council to help organize economic relations between Iraq and China, especially since the volume of trade exchange between the two countries is constantly expanding, pointing out that Iraq must enter a new phase of cooperation with China, represented by working to supply... Technology to the Iraqi market and the establishment of joint projects in more than one production and service sector.
He pointed out that the presence of advanced Chinese companies leads to the creation of Iraqi human resources with a high degree of experience through the presence and joint implementation of work, where we can interact with international experts to qualify our human resources and enable them with advanced technology.
