On Thursday, Minister of Education Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri announced the agreement with the Iraq Fund for Development to build a thousand new schools .
The Ministry of Education said in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “Al-Jubouri met with the Executive Director of the Iraq Fund for Development, Muhammad Al-Najjar, and the Minister announced the agreement to build a thousand new schools that will provide educational staff and students with an environment commensurate with their Iraqi academic standing. ”
The statement added, “Al-Jubouri and Al-Najjar also discussed the first axes of starting constructive projects with positive returns at the educational and entrepreneurial levels, by investing in the energies of youth, supporting the labor force, and joint cooperation through the formation of a specialized work team that will study the designs of schools with different capacities in accordance with high-quality standards, and allocate suitable lands for construction.” School buildings on it .”
