The Council of Ministers supports Dhi Qar’s experience in distributing serviced lands

The Council of Ministers approved Dhi Qar Governorate’s proposal regarding selling the serviced land and investing the amounts collected from it to develop the project and implement a second phase of it.
Governorate spokesman Abu Al-Hassan Al-Badri told Al-Sabah: The governorate intends to sell new serviced lands to distribute among citizens. The governorate has addressed the municipalities of the districts and districts, as well as the municipality of the city of Nasiriyah, to allocate lands for this purpose.
Al-Badri indicated that the funds collected from the sale of serviced lands will be invested to perpetuate this experience, which was appreciated by Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani, and in a way that contributes to solving the housing crisis in the governorate, through the establishment of organized neighborhoods equipped with roads and basic services, especially water and electricity. He stated that the first experience of selling about 1,200 plots of serviced land had achieved great success, noting that the experience of Dhi Qar Governorate in distributing serviced lands among citizens to solve the housing problem is the first experience in Iraq.
