Asia Cell has begun to grow rapidly in terms of withdrawing the largest number of subscribers from other competing companies, as well as its impact on revenue growth, due to the exceptional offers that the company continues to provide.
Some observers said that Asiacell is close to “crushing its competitors” after the offers it has made and continuously presents to its customers, while the company today concludes its 23rd year of establishment.
In terms of numbers, as of September 2023, Asiacell achieved more than 1.2 trillion dinars in revenue, compared to 1.1 trillion dinars for the same period in 2022, which means a growth rate of 10%, which is a result of the growth in the number of subscribers, according to the company’s accounts that I reviewed. In a quarterly report for the first nine months of 2021, a comparative report revealed that Asia Cell’s revenues reached $756 million, compared to only $574 million for Zain.
The quarterly growth rate for the third quarter of the current year for Asiacell was 25%, while the quarterly growth rate for the third quarter of the current year for Zain Iraq was 3.1%. The subscriber rate for Asiacell rose by 7%, while it rose for Zain by only 5%, according to the Future Iraq Foundation for Studies.
