Today, Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul-Ghani discussed with his Iranian counterpart joint investment in oil fields.
A statement from the ministry received by Al-Maalouma stated that "the Minister of Oil met with Iranian Oil Minister Jawad Oji and discussed with him the prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil and gas, infrastructure projects, and joint investment in the oil fields shared between the two countries."
The statement added that "the meeting came on the sidelines of the attendance of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil at the seventh summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Algeria." End 25
